Pegadaian Sharia Agent is an individual or business entity that collaborates with Pegadaian to provide loan services on Rahn products (Rahn agents), market Sharia products (Marketing agents), and receive payments from customers (Payment agents).

Sharia Pawn Agent Services

1) Marketing Agent
markets Pegadaian Sharia's products, including providing information and references (booking service) to prospective Rahin (Customers) to utilize Pegadaian Sharia's products in outlets.

2) Payment Agent
receives payments from Rahin for transactions as follows:
a. Extension, installment, and redemption of Pegadaian Rahn products;
b. Opening and Top-Up of Gold Savings;
c. Installment Payments and settlements for products other than Pegadaian Rahn.

3) Rahn Agent
distributes Pegadaian Rahn products based on the type of Marhun and the agent's expertise, in the form of:
a. Marhun Gold
b. Non-Gold Marhun

General requirements to become a Sharia Pawn Agent:
1) Individual or Business Entity;
2) Have a residence or business premises used for agency operations;
3) Outlet location and residence or business premises used for agency operations, connected to easy transportation access;
4) Have a smartphone and able to operate it;
5) Have a bank account affiliated with Pegadaian;
6) Willing to attend training conducted by Pegadaian.

Specific requirements to become a Sharia Pawn Agent:
1) Specifically for Rahn Agents, not employed by Pegadaian (permanent, non-permanent, or outsourcing), nor family members of Pegadaian employees (spouses/children still under their care);
2) Have skills/knowledge to evaluate Marhun and understand Marhun's market prices;
3) Willing to attend the Assessor training that will be developed in LSP training (Professional Certification Institution).
